 My A2 jacket arrived home today. May I congratulate you on the quality of the product, it is absolutely marvellous and it fitted perfectly.

The only thing that takes the edge off slightly for non US purchasers is the cost of UPS. You may look into another carrier who takes a bit longer, but is cheaper?

As promised I will send you an interesting story about an A2 from the 390^th BG Parham Airfield Museum just down the road after the weekend.

Wanted to drop a line about my new custom G-1 I received in Dec, 01. Awesome is about the only word I can use to describe this jacket. I ordered the G-1 with some custom features (no perf on the windflap, cotton lining, etc)and they were done perfectly. The only problem was it was too small. I sent it back and with some telephone negotiations with Mr. Dover, a larger size was shipped. The fit and finish on this jacket is incredible. I looked at other jackets on the market and have to say that US Authentic is the way to go. Customer service is top notch. I have worn this jacket about every day since I've gotten it. I just wish it was colder in Texas to justify a B-3. Thanks again!

Having been in the leather biz, for 30 years, both wholesale, and retail, and manufacturing, high end leather products, using every method, from hand stitching with an awl, braiding, lacing, and sewing, using Bonis fur machines, and landis shoe machines, as well as walking foot machines, I guess, that I'm qualified to give an informed opinion, as to the quality, both in the leather, and end product. Given the custom nature of my order I would have expected a long wait.  (Remember I have been dealing with E****** up until now) I'll be back in touch for squadron patches and eventually for the B-3's we talked about.  Since it was raining today I couldn't try out my new jacket in the cockpit ,however if the weather holds for the weekend I sure will give it a try. thank you for the custom G-1 I received in UK last week only 10 days after my telephone order. The quality is really impressive and the fit perfect. I am over the moon with the garment and your service. One small problem was that both pocket buttons came loose and fell off within 2 days so you have to sort out the thread/machinist that attached them. Otherwise I'll be back before Xmas to order an A-2 as there isn't a product in UK to touch yours, Eastman included, and I've looked at their stuff. You need to get an outlet over here at some of the air shows or advertise in some of our mags. You would make a killing with the pilot or classic car set with your products. Just a short note to say my jacket finally arrived back in Australia.

It actually was delivered by my friend's son to his father last week, but we only caught up today so I could collect the jacket. Looking at the jacket straight out of the plastic wrapping, it is everything I expected. The fit is perfect. I am sure that with time the jacket will "wear in" beautifully as the leather softens up. Leather being a natural product should be cared for. Do you have any recommendations in this regard? (P.N. No need for any care, if its get dirty just wipe it off with damp cloth. Defiantly do not apply any chemicals or cleaning products).

The weather down here is warming up as we near the middle of spring and summer approaches, but the nights are still mild and I am sure there will still be be the opportunity to wear the jacket before it gets too hot.

I am grateful for your assistance in helping me make the right choice in the jacket. Omitting the mouton collar was the way to go.

I will not hesitate to recommend US Authentic and its products.

As I indicated previously I am also interested in purchasing from you some patches for my son, who is very keen on anything to do with airplanes, (particularly F 14's) and a model for my own desk will not go astray.

I am a 6'3", 295 lb. , 48yr. male I have always wanted a leather bomber jacket ,but could never find one in my size, While I was surfing the web, I came across U.S. Authentic web site and decided to call. I spoke to there customer support and told them of my concern for proper fit. I mention that I had never in my adult life been able to buy a suit off the rack. I was assured that there would be no problem, and they will custom make my bomber. I followed the sites directions and sent him my measurements. A week later my M444 arrived in the mail. I opened the box and saw the finest quality jacket I have ever seen , I tried it on right away and found that the coat needed some adjustments. I picked up the phone and called U S Authentic. I can't say enough about how happy I am with the Indy jacket you guys made for me. I've spent 17 years looking for my jacket styled like this. I wish I could have found you guys sooner. My biggest Problem is I'm a tall and have very long arms. You guys certainly fixed that problem. To anyone reading this I highly RECOMMEND the people at U.S. Authentic. On a lark I was looking on the Internet for Jackets and found their site. There they had the exact jacket I was looking for. Well, being tall I wanted a Jacket that would fit all around to my specs as opposed to having one that just fit the arms but was baggy everywhere else or way to long in the length. Anyone like me with and odd size or need for a custom fit should definitely go through them. Follow the instructions for measurements on the site and you'll do just fine. If you've questions, call them up, they are extremely helpful to make sure you get what you want. I was lucky enough to actually live 15 miles from their shop. I was able to stop by and confer with them and see what I was getting as a custom cut jacket. It was the best money I spent on piece of clothing. The jacket fit's like a glove and is very well made. That and the turnaround was the best I've ever seen on anything. They had my measurements on a Friday morning, The Jacket was ready to be picked up the FOLLOWING Monday. I don't think you can have a suit made that fast. These are the got to gys for a great fitting , well made jacket. My Thanks you to all of you again.

I'm a fat man these days and had outgrown my venerable and gracefully aged A-2 style jacket, leaving it to languish in the closet these last few years while I yearned for one I could wear.  I finally gave in and called LLBean about a new one, only to discover that their jackets now are all made with a seam down the center of the back.  It keeps costs down.  When I explained to their customer service gentleman that I found that unacceptable, he graciously suggested US Authentic.  My thanks to LLB!

I called US Authentic and spoke with Customer Support about ordering a new custom-sized G-1 (my father used to let me wear his Navy-issue around the house when I was a kid) with custom features (leather instead of mouton collar, enlarged pockets, hand warmers, extra interior pocket, etc.).  I could hardly believe it when he told me I could have all I wanted in only a few days, but it was true!  The jacket arrived promptly, even a day earlier than expected, and it was immediately clear that this was a first-quality piece of work.  Fine materials, excellent workmanship...  but I had a problem. 

The measurements I'd given didn't account for my rather considerable girth and the jacket was too tight around my belly.  Greatly dismayed, I called U S Authentic and was reassured that adjustments could be made, no problem.  So I returned the jacket, adjustments were made, the jacket returned to me - again a day ahead of expectations - and now fits perfectly, feels wonderful and looks great!  We're talking a lot of goatskin here, people. 

I cannot say enough about U S Authentic representative patient dedication to my satisfaction and the excellence of US Authentic's product.  This level of service is almost unheard of in this day and age, but here it is, working and flourishing at US Authentic!  And all this over the phone and FedEx. 

Folks, if you're looking for the best, you've found it.

Just got my new modified G-1 in the mail today. Ordered the jacket late on Monday night and it was here on Thursday. I ordered a custom Top Gun model with ANJ-3 collar. Now I am someone who has practically everything a man could want. This jacket is truly special.

Number one, it fits me like a glove. I am 6'4" and weigh over 200lbs. Finding a jacket that fits either is impossible or it costs an arm and a leg. When I was told that I could have any number of alterations for only $100.00 I was surprised. I got 70 grams of Thinsulate, extra length in the body, extra length in the arms along with a leather collar. It is great. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company.

I received my new custom jacket last week and was very pleased with it. The fit is excellent and quality unsurpassed. The two inner chest pockets and dual entry outer pockets really make the jacket functional. The Thinsulate lining is not bulky but adds that little extra for winter wearing. Beats the hell out of my old LLBean leather jacket. I'm looking forward to breaking it in and wearing it all winter. I don't know where to start other than to say that I am ecstatic over the amazing work you did on repairing my 70's G-1 Aviator Jacket. The cuffs and waistband material are top rate. They reflect the cross ribbing found in many original jackets and the color, wool and installation were way above expectations. The Zipper is brilliant. I was afraid the replacement might not be the same as original mil-spec but it is, and not only works like a charm, it replicates the old one you replaced. Now for the Mouton Collar. Mine was synthetic, a feature I think the navy skimped on when they went into cost saving mode. Now with the plush, and wonderful smelling mouton collar replacement, My neck is swathed in luxurious material that I know will last for at least two decades.  I want to congratulate you and your staff for expert sewing -- the stitching was executed in the original stitch holes and is flawless. I feel the jacket is now better than it originally came. Your service is wonderful, prompt and greatly appreciated. Many others claim to do authentic work, but yours truly rose above the rest in materials, workmanship and customer service. I'm saving now to buy one of your new G-1's. I will recommend you to anyone. By the way, I work in the film business here in Los Angeles, and attention to detail is tantamount to success. You succeeded on every level and I thank you.
