Preferred design, manufacturerAO had the contract, lost it to another company that sells them for more money. [I suspect that at one time, AO was manufacturing in another country.... They're back, I gather, from that adventure.] These are well-made, I think as well as the more expensive version now issued. The nose pieces are silicon, which means no slipping on sweaty noses. The weak spot: I now need bi-focals. The solution: a low-cost item that readily sticks on the inside of the lenses, providing (almost invisible) "half moons" with the requisite correction. No glue involved, so nothing to mar the specs themselves. I have three sets of sunglasses (including original polarizing Wayfarers), and I like them all -- but these are the one I most often wear.Posted on
