Exactly what I was looking for. Review by William
I have always admired real leather jackets. Especially from TV and movies, like Hogan's Heroes, Happy days, Indiana Jones, etc... however every time I looked in the stores I was disappointed in either styling, fit, quality, origin, etc of the "off the shelf" selection.

Well this jacket is like those from films. Gorgeous work, solid like armor, great fit, quality workmanship, and made right here in the USA, so I am helping employee craftsmen right here at home instead of buying Chinese made junk.

I hated to return the standard jacket to get custom work done but when the custom jacket arrived I could not believe how quickly it came back and what beautiful work they had done..

If you have any doubts of this jacket is worth the risk ordering online, cost etc... don't have. You will not be disappointed!

Fits perfectly Review by Brad Enay (December 2007)
I'm 6'6" and 250 lbs. As you can imagine, I can't wear an "off the rack" item. I tried on the 48L that was sent to me and with just a couple of minor changes, have an A-2 with custom artwork that fits perfectly and draws compliments every time I wear it.(Which is daily.) (Posted on 8/2/2010)
Excellent quality and service Review by Todd Brewer (June 2007)
I just wanted to say thanks for the excellant quality and service that I've received from US Authentics. I ordered a custom A-2 (Little Demon) last summer. The artwork and craftsmanship were unbelieveable! I also sent in a vintage Willis & Geiger A-2 for repair....again fantastic work & super fast turnaround time! I recommend US Authentics to anyone! Thanks again! Todd Brewer (Posted on 8/2/2010)
Everything I thought it would be Review by Tony Lustre (February 2007)
Just want to let you know that I received the jacket last Monday. I was very excited to open it. It was everything I thought it would be. The fit and finish was awesome. With the thinsulate insulation, I can now wear it (with a sweater underneath) during the colder winter weather. The inside chest pockets were also very nice, specially the leather trims. Your people do good work. And the turnaround time was as promised (2 weeks for custom work).
Having this wonderful A-2 jacket now makes me want a G-1. Goatskin instead of horsehide this time around. That would make for a nice christmas present for myself :)
Regards and thanks.

Outstanding, beautiful job! Review by John McCarthy (January 2007)
Got the finished jacket and it is beautiful!!!!
You did an outstanding job with the art work and all. I am very excited to wear it and send photos of it to Many WWII 301st members.
This is a great way to pay honor to my Dad as well as all WWII airmen.
Thanks again.

Perfect custom nose art Review by Ron Witt (December 2006)
I wanted to let you know that my A-2 custom nose art jacket just arrived. The A-2 Horsehide Russet jacket is of the highest quality, and the Memphis Belle custom nose art and Bomb Group/Squadron patches are exactly what I had requested. Excellent Job!

I'll be back for another one next year.

Happy Holidays to you.

Awesome Review by LT P R Jones (December 2006)
The jacket arrived this week. It is awesome. Perfect shade of light tan with a good touch of red in it. I especially like that.

Even my wife liked it and didn't kill me for buying another flight jacket from you. How many jackets have I bought from you now? At least half a dozen, not counting the B-3, hats and patches. Plus I've recommended you to a number of friends.

Your research dept. may be aware that some of the A-2s, made in the late 1930s I believe, but still issued to the troops until wartime massive production started with numerous companies, had a very distinct red tint to their "russet" leather. These were referred to as "redskins." They were very prized, so naturally "the brass" made a point of insuring that future jackets were a darker brown. The supply system even tried to take some of these jackets from the airmen and re-dyed them - looked pretty crappy too. So whenever a guy had a "redskin" it was a prize. Even today a" redskin" is worth more than any other authentic airtime A-2.

Again, thanks for taking the time to insure there were no obvious dark creases showing. (Posted on 7/23/2010)
Thrilled with the quality and beauty! Review by Cliff Lines (November 2006)
I just received my A2 custom vintage horsehide jacket (with custom pockets inside and blood chit sewn into the living) and am thrilled with the quality and beauty of the jacket. This is the finest jacket I have ever owned—I am especially impressed with the rugged quality of the manufacture and material (this is a heavy jacket, I was surprised). I’m looking forward to years of enjoyment and will be working thru your company for any future maintenance or repair to keep the jacket looking as a nice as possible. I’m now considering your Indy jacket as my next purchase. I’ve already recommended US Authentic to my friends. (Posted on 7/23/2010)
Fantastic custom jacket Review by Michael Flores (April 2006)
Just received my jacket. IT'S PERFECT!! Exactly the way I wanted it, and it fits like a dream. You even made the back a one-piece. I'm very impressed with your skill at making such a large jacket. Congratulations on a great custom jacket. It's much appreciated. Thanks again (Posted on 7/23/2010)
