Jacket Size

Size measurements

We follow the true army/navy specifications, and therefore our jackets will fit like a uniform: fitted and trim. With that in mind, if you'd like the uniform look, you should use the same size as your dress-suit. If you like a fuller cut, you should use one size larger. The G-1 jacket is fuller than the A-2 because of the Bi-swing in the back.

In order to ensure the correct fit, please provide us with the name of the product you ordered, and your height and weight. Also, please the following chart and provide us with the measurements for your jacket.

Take one of your jackets that fits you comfortably (preferably a suit jacket or a blazer), buttoned or zip the front of the jacket, and take the measurements as follows.

You can print the page and fax it to us, or you can provide us with the information on our order form, or email. Please make sure that the jacket is completely flat without any creases when you take the measurements. Take the measurement flat on a table, NOT on your body.

CH (chest measurement: taken 1" below the armpit, in a straight line)

SH (shoulder measurement: take off the back of the jacket from the point where the shoulder seam meet the sleeve)

SL (sleeve measurement: start at the center back where the back meet the collar, straight line to the shoulder-sleeve point, and continue to the cuff, include the cuff or knit rib if any)

CB (the length of the jacket taken from the center back at the neck seam to the bottom of the jacket: includes any waist band, if any). This measurement must be taken from a waist length jacket.
