  1. Very happy Review by Jason M. (May 2008)

Just thought I'd let you know that I have been wearing my seal brown horsehide
A2 jacket for a few months now. It is breaking in nicely as advertised, and I am very happy with it. I have had several people compliment me on the jacket, including one who was a retired air force colonel and wanted to know where I
got it. Enough said. Thanks for a great jacket.

  2. More beautiful than I imagined Review by John Santiago (February 2008)

The jacket is absolutely amazing!!!! It's much more beautiful than I had imagined, the details really touch my experience in VS21 and japan. Thank you so very much for the wonderful job. I will always treasure it!!!! (Posted on 7/28/2010)

  3. Superior in every aspect Review by James R. Bird, Jr. (February 2008)

I have just received my horsehide seal brown A2. Its fits perfectly, close to the body as the wartime A2s did. The tex- ture of the horsehide replicates the WWII versions. in terms of "feel", I rate this jacket higher than Eastman! I have an Avirex and a Cooper A2, and your product is superior in every aspect. Your prompt service (2 days) is really
    appreciated.

  4. Exceptional fit and finish Review by Eric (January 2008)

Received Horsehide Seal Brown A2 recently. Top notch quality and well worth the fair price. The thickness and quality of the horsehide is exceptional. Stitching and finishing is excellent. True military fit so I'd better not pack on the pounds! Thank you for such a quality product! (Posted on 7/28/2010)

  5. One of a kind Review by Brett Carter (August 2007)

got my a2 today in the mail it looks fantastic fits well and will be the only one of its kind in the country the badges look great too it was well worth the money and time some people spend thousands on Italian leather jackets
A2 jackets are not cheap but at the end of the day your getting a much stronger jacket then one from a fashion house and I think they look better as well and their a piece of history that has never gone out of fashion thanks again for a great job

  6. Amazing quality!!!! Review by Barry Franklin (April 2007)

Just a note to let you know my custom A2 arrived safe and sound. Amazing quality!!!!!

The custom pockets are really well designed! I suppose that the "purists" would not be too thrilled about modifying the venerable A2, but
it is the definitive flight jacket and ex Canadian Air Force officers like mefor some reason always want a sleeve pocket. The inner pocket is great too, accomodating cell phone, wallet or even sun glasses.

Thanks again! And here are a couple of photos of me with my A2 after I took it for its first plane ride.

    Cheers! And thanks again,

  7. Very authentic jacket Review by Jonathan Vigier (December 2006)

I purchased an A2 horsehide seal brown jacket from you a few months ago. I have only recently had time to compare its details to those of the originals from the '40s : it comes out pretty well!
What with the quality of the product and the excelent service provided by US Authentic I believe the jacket to be very good value for money.

  10. Thanks for an outstanding jacket Review by James R. Dole (February 2007)

I recently purchased and received my Russet Horsehide A2 jacket. I am very pleased with the quality to price ratio.
I gave the salesman/owner my height and weight and the suggested size was perfect. It is a bit stiff (a good thing) and I am told that with increased wearing of the jacket the fit/feel will only get better. Thanks again for an outstanding jacket. I look forward to purchasing the Medium Brown Goatskin A2 next. (Posted on 7/23/2010)

A2 Seal Brown Horsehide Review by Steve
Dear Shaul,

Thank you for the excellent service and quality jacket! The size you recommended was a perfect fit. I really like the horsehide leather which is new to me because Ive been wearing a military issue goatskin A2 for many years. Also after I placed the order online I think you set the record for a shipping label creation from UPS. Literally it was about 15 minutes after I ordered when I got the confirmation of shipping. Incredible!

Thanks Again,
Steve (Posted on 4/28/2015)
PHENOMENAL PRODUCT AND SERVICE! Review by FRANCO
Purchased an A-2 in horsehide seal brown from this company after much time spent researching the web for a quality A-2 Leather Flight Jacket. I have one which has lasted me over 20 years but got a wee bit tight so I figured it was time for a new one. I couldn't believe what some manufacturers were asking for A-2's. The average price was over $1000!!!! Then I found FlightJacket.com and US Authentic MFG Company. Prices seemed reasonable and they had exactly what I was looking for so I rolled the dice and took a chance on their jacket being enough of a quality product to suit me.
First off I couldn't believe the speed with which they responded and shipped my A-2. And I knew I hit the jackpot when I opened the box and saw the most beautiful A-2 Jacket I have ever seen! It is perfect in ever detail. The leather is a heavier more robust horsehide than my old one and weighs more also. The quality of the stitching and seams is absolutely first rate. The lining is very authentic looking and comfortable cotton.
I ordered a 46R up from my old 44R. The fit was perfect except for the sleeves which were a bit too long so I sent it back to have the sleeves shortened by 2 inches. From the time I shipped the A-2 to the company till I got it back was less than a week! Plus I had them add a name tag and a custom lining. Unbelievable service and quality of workmanship. And all this at half the price I would of paid with other manufacturers. I'll stack this A-2 up against any other A-2 on the market.
I also sent my old A-2 Jacket to US Authentic to have some patches sewn on and again incredibly fast and reliable service. I'll save this one for when my grandson is old enough to wear it.
I can't sing the praises of US Authentic MFG Company and Shaul for their prompt courteous and professional service loud enough. This A-2 will last me the rest of my life. And I intend to purchase more items from this company in the future.
Outstanding product and well done! (Posted on 1/20/2015)
Great experience! Review by Mark
Received my russet horsehide A-2 in 2 days! It is a beautiful jacket and Shaul was right on with sizing. The only other leather jacket I've owned was goat skin so the stiffness of horse hide is quite different. I'm wearing it every second to get it broken in. Thanks. (Posted on 1/19/2015)
